The Dallas Pike Pole

The “Dallas Pike” was developed by members of the Dallas Fire Department and is known throughout the United States.  It is used for ripping through the tongue and groove ceilings of buildings in older cities. It requires a one-man operation of driving the point into the wood ceiling, slamming it up and down until a hole is punched through, followed by normal pulling down of wooden slats. The tool is 6 feet long when retracted.
